Milan Cathedral
We visited Milan Cathedral this morning including a walk on the roof (extra). It took a mere 6 centuries to build - the finishing touches were in the 1960s - and is the 3rd biggest in the world. To get to the roof involved many flights of stairs ( there were elevators) but you got a decent view from the top. I wouldn’t fancy doing this in the heat and crowds of the Summer. In the afternoon we visited the Castle and its museum before watching the second half of the rugby from Rome. Not a great result or performance.
