Redford and Dreghorn Woods

Our monthly '2nd Saturday Strollers' walk today and thankfully the weather held out - chilly but no rain ...

... we visited both Redford Woods and Dreghorn Woods (see the two extras) and we were particularly fascinated by the First World War 'training-trenches' at Dreghorn; which you can just see the edge of, on the right-side of the main photo.

Coffee and scones, at 'The Swing Cafe' in Colinton, provided some much needed sustenance on the way round our route :-)
