Elegantly Wasted

Went to visit Dad in Southport today. Youngest came along & Mum also -she is staying over and catching a train home tomorrow afternoon.

There is a Dobbies garden centre a mile from the hospital, and with Southport's topography being extremely horizontal, we wheeled Dad there in a chair for some fresh air and dinner in the cafe.

Before heading for home, youngest & I headed for Victoria Park. I hadn't told her but as we got near she pointed..."Oh look, a Bandstand!"...and then realised the reason for the little diversion ;-)

Full pic in the extra. A Lion Foundry Model 23 just like the ones in my local park & Ms.Arell's! Is in need of some tlc but the detail on the stantions is in lovely condition still, especially considering it's proximity to the sea :-)
