“I’m warming my arse!”

Well, that was what Jackie said.

It was windy which made the already freezing day even colder. The water temp was 7° and with the cold air and wind it felt even lower. Boy, it was painful getting my shoulders in but I did. After a couple of minutes of swearing, deep breaths and eventually going numb I was alright. I swam a lap with Dawn and then I thought I’d do a little but more but I just kept going and did another lap. It was probably a bit foolish but I really enjoyed it. We tried to warm up by the fire afterwards. I’m still a bit chilled through tonight. It was a fabulous start to the day.
