Street art at Ocean Terminal
We took Mummy hazelh to Ocean Terminal this afternoon for her pneumococcal vaccine. The whole process was very straightforward and efficient - unlike the journey there and back, which was an obstacle course of potholes, road works, and temporary traffic lights. Thank goodness we rarely need to drive through this city.
Afterwards we had tea and coffee in the bar, sitting at a table right next to the big windows that look out onto the river/sea. We also looked at Britannia (from the outside), and I blipped this indoors street art. Ocean Terminal itself looks a bit sorry for itself, with many shops closed or boarded up. There seems to be some on-going work to update the centre. This is long overdue.
Mr hazelh and I embarked on the 2024 wild garlic eradication programme when we returned from our trip out. We expected that this would be a bigger job than it was in practice. However, it could be that the bulk of beasties are yet to pop up in our garden. We also played around with our compost, creating layers in our big plastic bin from the contents of the one that Paddy made for us in 2021 (as featured here).
My crankle is feeling much better today :-)
Exercise today: gardening.
