We're taking life very gently at the moment. However, we did get a decent walk in the countryside this morning and - feeling a bit jaded with the telly - headed into Bristol for another.

As someone who lived half his life in the city, it is interesting to see the changes. Also, it is interesting to notice we are the old people now, as we walk through the city centre full of half dressed three quarters inebriated young people. :-)

I'm sure the city wasn't as colourful and tempting when I was a spotty twenty something... Mind, it didn't seem to have as many rough sleepers either. On the whole I am generally happy to be the old guy...
