Whirlwind shopping
FRIDAY
A trip over the border to Cheshire Oaks and some successful clothes shopping in the M&S tailoring department. With the help of the store's personal shopping assistant in the space of thirty minutes I had found a suitable suit, shirt and silk tie to wear at Harriet's forthcoming wedding.
Apparently the M&S store here is the company's second largest store in the UK - the largest one being their flagship building on Oxford Street.
After lunch in the M&S cafe, we trailed around the other shops in the Outlet Village with less success. I thought the two coffees and two eclairs at Patisserie Valerie were a bit overpriced at £17.20.
The carousel in the photo is at the side of the Outlet Village car park.
