Makes the world go ‘round

Thanks to everyone who took a look at yesterday’s cape marigolds.

I got all the way to the canyon, set up the tripod, turned on the camera then….(expletive), I didn’t have a card in it. I’m going to guess that I’m not alone in this type of misadventure.

There wasn’t much I could do so I drove back to Green Valley. Rather than going straight home, I went to Desert Meadows Park for a walk. I saw this sign tucked into some branches and decided on it for my blip. I don’t know what the heck the extra is. I’ve never seen a cactus like this before and would have remembered the red fingers (which I now know are flowers) sticking out from it. It’s a bizarre sight.

While I was there, I reserved a ramada for a picnic on Tuesday. I had to do it online (the directions were posted) so I hope I didn’t mess it up. The one I selected is located in the hummingbird/butterfly garden.
