Mushroom People

A great looking group of folks who care for Morgantown's homeless. These kids are WVU students, accompanied by faculty advisers, and they walk the streets of downtown about once a week, offering medical care and referrals, a listening ear, and moral support.

Given the vast number of young people whose only contact with the downtown area is inebriated bar-hopping, it does my old heart good to see these great Mushroom kids getting out there and making a difference.
