A New Crochet Project

I decided at the beginning of this year to make a crocheted throw representing the temperatures of the month of May 2023 to celebrate my special birthday!

Each square represents the temperatures of one day. Starting from the centre, working outwards: the warmest, the coolest, the average and the warmest again.  I chose a square with a flower shape in the middle, since May is known for its many flowers.  The temperatures ranged from 5-25C and I chose eleven different colours to represent them.  It wasn't the warmest month of May I have known - which is always a relief for me!

Today is a dull day, so perfect for crochet and reading!
