Village Walk

Midday I set off on a walk from home up to the trig point on top of Coppett Hill, that overlooks our village of Goodrich, nr Ross on Wye (Herefordshire, UK). A lovely dry dry with slight windchill, it was nice to be walking at my pace enjoying the nature reserve.

The photo' I like best from the four mile walk is of a lone tree on the side of the hill looking Northwards, with light poking through the clouds. It makes for a dramatic black and white landscape.

I got home for a quick change as we're out with neighbours and friends for an Italian meal in Monmouth. It was our neighbours 63rd birthday and it's the first opportunity we've all had to get out and celebrate.
