A comfortable night in Maputo and a slow morning of logistical arrangements for the group as in the afternoon we headed south to Ponta do Ouro ready for a week of workshopping.

We had the privilege to show a Tanzanian colleague on his first visit to Mozambique some of the Maputo sights. The pièce de résistance (literally) is the Praça da Independência and the statue of Samora Machel, the first leader of an independent Mozambique.

A luta continua. The fight continues, as the rallying call went during the battle for Mozambican independence.
