Hanging On by its Roots!

This tree has been like this for several years after a big avalanche ripped out most of the other trees around it. Last night’s foehn wind was so strong  I decided to go to check on it before the rain got serious this afternoon. 

Thanks for your Preston concern. He’s no better today and will be going to the vet’s again tomorrow. His eye on the side where his ear was bitten, is almost closed despite my ministrations every 3 - 4 hours. I am really worried in case the antibiotics are not working. He is so sad, hardly eating and just sleeping.
