Sad state of affairs

Day 8 of no water, and tempers are beyond frayed. Water tankers are about and bringing relief to some, but how sad that we have to be grateful for this service.

Hopefully those that can, will vote these incompetent local authority parties out. And, above all, will only allow those with a proven track record, be allowed to rule nationally.. May 29th is going to be such an important day.

We had planned to have a late lunch at a new (to us), Indian Restaurant, only to find it still to be there but under a different name. Great food, and a lovely atmosphere, a great way to finish a good weekend.
