Washington D.C.

On my hols now and I have actually got something worthwhile to post. In Washington to see the sights and do the tourist thing. Got a good few I would have liked to post ( some of them my wife says are a bit pretentious but I like them), but chose this one as a timely reminder to myself.

It's the World War 2 memorial and I was standing under the Atlantic Arch when I heard one of the tourists say to look up. I did and this is what I saw. Without him I would have missed a stunning piece of architecture
