End of the day!

I took the boys to a birthday party this afternoon. I should learn that parties are a bit overwhelming for the youngest, and true to form this one was a bit much. It all went south when he spotted a slab of cokes and wanted one, amd became fixated on having one (I said no). It wasn't helped when two children near to us asked their mother for some, she said  no, only for their dad to say yes two minutes later and open them right by the youngest. 

I think we just about recovered by the time we left. 

Nice evening walk with the dog, am looking forward to long summer evenings when an evening walk is a delight, not dark and rainy!
