Friends, Fun & Food

A woeful photo but as my day was a bit of a foodie day, it is kind of appropriate.

Started with a baby shower brunch at church in the morning though it was more of a happy time of ladies enjoying being together, eating yummy food and having fun with a silly quiz.

Then I hopped on a train to Potters Bar for a lunch meet with some lovely chums.
Pumpkin soup was on the menu - it’s been 6 years since the four of us enjoyed what had become at least an annual event, usually at Thanksgiving. Delicious pumpkin soup, tasty breads, cheeses and olives were enjoyed. Now that I’m back in London, it was fun to meet up together again.

Then home on the train (accompanied by 1000s of Arsenal fans, we live near to the Emirates stadium) to spend the evening with hubby. We had stir fried chicken & rice (as seen in the photo).
