Close to the ground

We enjoyed a walk around the Siltcoos Lagoon Trail in between showers and much to our surprise we stayed dry. We even saw a fabulously big grey heron , close by our trail but he was shy, spread his big wings and flew away before I could even open the camera.
In the morning I got a short phone call of the granddaughters in Hamburg who wanted to tell me what beautiful things they had bought at a spring/Easter event . What a joy to see them.
