Crossing the (very low) Arrow …..

….. ….. ….. River this morning, after walking Tobins Track.
It was still cool under the trees when we started out and although it’s been very sunny we didn’t overheat. Nice!
Missy decided she wanted to cross through the river, so we sloshed across. I must remember to get my wet boots out of the car boot when I finish writing this!

There were lots of people to talk to, including visitors from USA, Korea & Japan, plus bikers involved in the NZ-wide Cycle Event. I tried to find the owner of a very sturdy water bottle by sending it off downhill with another biker. Fingers crossed! I can’t imagine being without your water bottle when you’re biking in the heat of the day.
