Crepe Myrtle……

This beautiful shrub is growing in Pollard Park. It is Crepe Myrtle. One of the gardeners told me it originated in Australia and is heat tolerant. It comes in several colours, red, dark pink and light pink. There may be other colours as well.
It is beautiful. Its name intrigued me.
Of course I have a beautiful “Myrtle” in my life …. In feline form!
I visited Pollard Park on my way home late this morning.
I had another session of Physio this morning. My injured hamstring is healing albeit slowly.. My physiotherapist is very good. She’s treated me in the past and she is a member of Camera Club. A lovely lady. .
