Tranquil Vibes

Where I live we have a beautiful botanical garden...between rainstorms a friend and I walked the gardens...their shade trees and bay breezes provide a pleasant protection from midday sun...we certainly need the rain, but I needed some time outdoors and fortunately my friend needed a break from overhauling her website...this image is of the Koi pond; a place that one could shoot from many angles for quite some time...I did not have my camera with me, but as Chase Jarvis says, "the best camera is the one that's with you" and of course that was my phone...as i turned down the path and caught the light on the statue i had to take a picture...the image does not do it justice, but i wanted to share the peacefulness of it...while preparing the image for blipping, i thought about how funny it is that an image with a gong in it, Koi mouths breaking the water in search of food, a waterfall in the background and the ripples seen in various places also conveyed tranquility....so, like ripples on the water and deep, soothing vibrations of the bell, I send peace....
