Different birds

As I watched Jane of Hill Top Ramblings make these pieces in the days before Christmas, I was fascinated - such lovely stitching. 

I realised that she got the kit from Corinne Lapierre and in the end I was tempted to buy a kit for myself. Five Embroidered Folk Birds was not as ambitious as the Twelve Days of Christmas, so I thought I could have a go. 

It was a nice project to take away with me to Cornwall and I enjoyed doing them. Three finished, two to go. What I will do with them when they are finished, I don’t know, but I am sure they will hang up somewhere.
