Hot cross buns!

My usual Pilates class followed by a meet up with a friend in Bushy Park and coffee near Hampton Court Palace . The nice new cafe by the gates of Bushy Park was not open, apparently they are now closing on Mondays which is annoying.

We picked up the twins as usual and today we had a go at playing the recorder which they are starting in a lunch time club at school. Rather than all three of us playing the recorder we managed to take it in turns to either sing, play the recorder or the piano. As it’s only three notes they picked it up quickly and could play on the piano more easily than on the recorder.
So maybe we will try another tune next week.

I was trying to remember when I first learnt the recorder and think it was around 7 or 8. As they are only six their fingers are still quite small to cover the holes properly.
