West Street, Faversham
The weather was worse today than yesterday. The only consolation was it was not raining. The cloud was thick grey and lowering. A keen, sharp northwesterly wind added to the overall dismalness of the day. No change in sight. No chance to get on at the allotment either.
While Susan and Barbara when to be with their mum I got on with things at home, completing a railway assessment and the shopping for next week.
Rather than staying in this afternoon we went to Faversham to visit Macknades “Farm” Shop and a wander around the largely deserted streets of the town. No wonder, what with the weather and the fact that many places were not open today.
I was intending to join Mono Monday until I saw this splash of colour which made an impact on such a gloomy day.
