This is the 24th year since Jim's disappearance while kayaking, I ask you to join me not in sorrow, but in celebrating the joy his life brought to all of us. This year feels different, with the signage down at the bay unexpectedly removed, leaving us with unanswered questions. With wind advisories and heavy rain, we decided to paint I-5 rock on Wednesday night to commemorate the 24th year since his absence. Weather forecasts look favorable for that day. Jim's absence is deeply felt, but his spirit continues to live on in our hearts.
