Pacific Black Duck

Yet another glorious day. Hang on. Am I still in the Blue Mountains? Anyway the Pacific Black ducks down at Wentworth Falls Lake are just as friendly as ever. Mind you they always seem to wear this smug, self satisfied expression.  

Curiously, Pacific Blacks aren't really black. They are mostly brown so far as I can see. I still don't know how they got their name.
