Conor's Ray Diagram

A lot of Physics can be taught in pictures. Just copying out this diagram is a great introduction to optics. Conor did it this morning using the Procreate app on his iPad. A nice feature of Procreate is the ability to select parts of a drawing and move them around, so as a test Dad jumbled all the labels up and Conor had to move them all back into the right places.

For maths, the new (experimental) approach is to just try past papers and let Conor have a go at each question as it comes. If he hasn't covered the topic the teaching is about how to find out himself how to answer it and gain an understanding of the answer. It went well.
