Lunch with Erika

I first met Erika and her husband Mauritz in 2019 on a trip to Georgia and the Caucasus mountains. M is currently at at the Royal Free and I have an appointment with ‘The Rubber Boobie Lady’ today, so Erika and I had a catch up.


Over smashed avocado and mussels we agreed it’s as hard for the carers as it is for the patient in hospital. 


On a lighter note, I visited the new Maggies Cancer Centre (see extra), opened by Camilla the day before The King received his diagnosis. I was amused by the chandelier which is supposed to represent clouds but look like a collection of saline breast implants :-D
