Lake Sils

Normally the frozen lakes are busy with cross country skiers and hikers. Right now it is blissfully quiet and serene. The ice is thick but the heavy weight of the late snow during the last weeks pushes the ice down and a layer of water and slush emerges between the ice and the snow. Climate change.

We fully enjoyed being almost alone under the blue and white sky.
