Pinxter

The Pinxter Azalea, Rhododendron canescens aka Mountain Azalea, is native to the Southeastern U.S. We have 10-12 of them in our yard and all are beginning to bloom! They have delicate flowers which don't seem to last as long as the non-native varieties but are very beautiful! Do check the *extra for another photo of Pinxter.
