The Old Shotover Bridge …..

….. ….. ….. over the Lower Shotover River.
This was the 2nd bridge built over the Shotover and has been superseded by the newest ‘banana’ (shaped) bridge; all used for transport of course.

I went to see an incredible movie in the cinema in the Lodge this afternoon; One Life. It tells the true story of the 669 children that were rescued from starvation & the horrors in Prague, & the Nazis, immediately prior to WWII.
The leading light at the time was Nicky Winter - I’ll spoil it if I say any more!
