Saturday night at the 'Woolshed'

It was to the parlour of the Woolshed Inn on the 8th April 1878 that most of the gentlemen of the assemblage that gathered and laid the foundation stone of the Bordertown Institute repaired to farewell a prominent member of the community, Mr Boothby J.P., manager of the estates of Nalang and Cannawyra (sic) which had changed hands.
South Australian Chronicle and Weekly Mail, 10 April 1878. Trove

The community must have felt a great debt result of the contributions 'to the Tatiara' of Mr. Boothby as he was presented at the gathering with a gold watch.
