Glasgow Central Station Tour
A Christmas Present from our eldest niece and her fiancé.
We didn't let on that we had been before but it must have been about 8 or 9 years ago and much has changed in that time.
The remarkable Paul Lyons was our guideon both tours. Paul is a man with a fervent love for trains and a great vision to share his love with the public.
There is now a museum and perhaps the most exciting addition will arrive in a few week's time when a Victorian steam engine and carriage are scheduled to arrive and take pride of place in a restored Victorian-age platform in the bowels of the building. We will certainly visit again while we can still manage the steps!
The kilt made out of train tickets was amazing and so well made. If there had been time I would have looked at all the tickets to see if there was one to or from Burnside which is our local station.
