I love Wing On!

Wing On is a fantastic department store here, not simply for the goods you can buy, but because of its staff. There have been occasions where staff have outnumbered customers, but not today.
I have a friend coming to stay soon, so I thought I should do something to prepare, sharing the one glass and the 2 cups I have probably wouldn't go down very well!

I went off to Wing On and discovered that not only do they have a sale on, but half of Hong Kong were there shopping, it was completely mad.

I bought far too much, and was escorted to the till by one assistant whilst another took each item out of my trolley and called the price to the cashier. The cashier applied the discount to each item using a calculator and then keying in the discounted price to the till and then a fourth assistant wraps and packs.

I looked in horror at the 3 heavy bags sitting on the floor wondering how I was going to manage to get them out of the store to the taxi rank across the road. Suddenly, one of the store security officers picked up two of the bags and asked, "where do you need to get too? He escorted me through the store, up the escalator and out into the street. The queue for the taxi was huge, but he took me all the way to the end of the queue before wishing me a good day!

The rest of the journey home was easy, clearly with that kind of customer service, I'll be going back!
