Emsworthy Rocks

There's something about the combination of trees and rocks that I like. I suppose there's a contrast between the ephemeral and the permanent. 

One of my favourite trees is this little hawthorn standing on a granite outcrop at 420 metres above sea level in a very chilly wind. I've taken it from a different viewpoint to my usual and I've added another taken on my approach.
