Hidden Gem ?

We came across this tiny village by chance this morning. Ashmore in North Dorset. At 700 ft above sea level,the highest village in Dorset.

Beautiful place(in the sun anyway). The dew pond is a gem. Huge dragon flies,and the swifts/martins making full use of it. May have been built by the Romans.The lane leading into the village is about as wide as a good sized book,but great views over the Cranborne Chase.
