Piano recital at British Institute

We heard about the British Institute of Florence from a friend who studied Italian there some years ago. We enjoyed hearing Simone Tavoni playing piano pieces by six different composers, including Bach, Rachmaninov and Chopin. The setting looking out over the Arno toward downtown was a stunning backdrop. The performance was captivating and at times very moving.
