S’Mores and More

The youth group came out tonight. We probably had 25-ish kids and adults. They brought burgers, drinks, and chips. I dip a couple of cheese dips with fritos. They had their devotion then they ate and explored. Such good kids. A photo of some of the group in extras. The youth leaders’ little boy found a duck egg on the lawn. He was thrilled. His mom lived out here for 2 years in my mom and dad’s house a few years ago. She’s one of ours.
We had a blast. However, to be real about it, this morning was a struggle. I’m having a flare up of POTS syndrome. They say I got it due to covid. This morning, my blood pressure would bottom out when I stood up. I just took it easy and drank lots of water. It finally got some better and I did enjoy the kids. But now I have a splitting headache. I do see my doc in the morning for an already scheduled appointment. I am thankful.
