18.5C with some blue sky amongst the clouds. Light breeze.

Maeve the Deerhound and I went for a walk before lunch. Half way down the road to the shore we wandered into the field and made our way along where the tractors have made spaces in the crops. Everything is looking very green and the crops seem to be coming along well. In this field there are two grain crops growing right up to each other. In the next field are potatoes.

We followed the road round today and went over the road bridge across the railway line to Westhaven. The tide was out so we had a wander down on the hard sand. The boats were all beached and sitting on a lot of seaweed. We didn't get close to the boats today.

After lunch I watched the F1 qualifying for the British Grand Prix on telly. Some super fast driving. I am looking forward to the race tomorrow.
