Postcard from Swan Lake

It was a lovely sunny Autumn's day with a cool wind and around 20c. 

My friend had a couple of hours to fill in while her daughter was doing two hours work experience. I asked if she would like to go to Swan Lake. She had never seen or knew about it. It wasn't far from where we were ..so I took her there. She loved it. 

If you look closely at the photo bottom left. The Daffodils are up and have flower buds!.

We had a little shake up this afternoon with a 3.4 earthquake centred close to the city. 

I hope to get over to Akaroa this weekend. The weather isn't going to be great but hopefully I can get the lawn mowed.
