Robin

Damp morning, wind shifted to come from the SW. Out in the early afternoon to Inverleith pond. One adult swan and three of last years cygnets, same as last time.  

On to the Botanics. The Inverleith House cafe is shut, being refurbished; there's an outdoor coffee cart. We had tea, and shared a ginger oat flapjack with a pair of robins. One landed on the table, looking for crumbs; seeing a blip opportunity they were provided. Two more shots in extras. 

There are a lot of bright rhododendrons out; the big pink magnolia tree behind the House is blooming too. 

11C, not warm in the wind, though OK for sitting in sheltered places
