Tin Tabernacles of 2024 #3

Back to the tin tabernacle project today. This tiny derelict kirk sits on the Pearsie Estate near Kirriemuir. Built in the early 20th century it served the breakaway Free Church congregation of Glen Prosen. It's completely abandoned now. The extra shows the church nestled in the woods. 

We're staying in Kirriemuir tonight. Some of my great great grandparents came from Kirriemuir. This afternoon I'm  going to walk up to the cemetery and find the family graves. I have the locations thanks to the very helpful archivist at the museum. 

It's miserable wet weather but the day is a treat.
