On The Road Home

Our mini clan meeting in Elgin last night was a great success with the adults having a civilised buffet in the garden while the three grandchildren present made themselves scarce in the background with various messy ploys.

The good news imparted was that 'we are a grandmother to be, again' in January. This will bring the numbers to a round dozen, but 'Cheaper by the Dozen' ?........I don't think so.

With the thought of home luring His Lordship south we left Elgin fairly promptly, arriving back to find a Meadows filled to bursting point with participants, complete with brass bands flags and drums, in what I presume was the start of a massive Orange March.

I can't help feeling that this sort of thing is outdated, not helpful in creating harmony between religions, but instead making a definite statement of difference.
