How did my human get to be this old?
This is my human's annual birthday photo of me and her. …..............She's 65 years old today. How on earth did she get to be so old?
40 years ago she spent her birthday in 'Cinderella Rockerfella's' in St Stephens Street in Edinburgh. It since got burnt down. She was a 'quarter of a century' old and it seemed like the worst thing ever.......... Being 65 years old wasn't even on her radar.
How times change? 65 years old isn't old these days is it? Mmmmmmm...................... or maybe it is? As her sister pointed out to her the other day.................... she only needs to make it until the 11th April and then she will have lived longer than her mother.
Ann's mum didn't drink, didn't smoke, didn't do anything unhealthy and yet, she still died at 65 years of age. Ann has consumed way more alcohol this lunchtime than what the government guidelines recommend. But what do they know?

I've not had any big, long walks today because it's been absolutely chucking it down with rain all day she went out for brunch/lunch with her friends. Having said that, she was still home by 3pm to drink another glass of Prosecco with one of her friends, and then at about 4pm she took me out for another walk, in the rain, and forgot to take her phone so we have absolutely no idea how many steps we've walked today.
It's still raining. Our weather app is showing rain for the rest of our lives. Personally, I'm quite pleased. We've been walking so far recently, that it's nice to have a rest day.
Toodles. xx
