Free to Roam

It's just wonderful to see the ponies on Holt Lowes having the freedom to wander where they please as they help to keep the vegetation trimmed on this lovely heath. 

B and I managed to squeeze in a quick walk around the heath this morning before B had to dash home for a delivery. B has a close-up view of the ponies on her page (taken with her longer lens):

It's such an inspiring time of the year to be out and about listening to the birdsong, admiring the gorse and enjoying some welcome mild, sunny weather.

I did some gardening after my morning coffee and took the opportunity to scatter some chicken manure pellets around the flower beds which are now benefitting from the rain washing it into the soil.
