A sad sight !
When I was growing up in the 50s, times were hard ,my Mum never worked ,my Dad worked in Wylie and Locheads in Glasgow.
We were always well fed and clothed, went doon the watter for the fair, or BB camp for me.
Even in those times of austerity, and believe me it was just as bad as now.
The only folk who had their own car and house were the Doctor or the Minister.
I don't remember ever seeing a beggar on the streets in Glasgow !!!!!!
Now it is difficult to do street photography in the city without one.
