Hawthorn Leaves

It was a working day but we had time for a quick walk around the park at lunchtime.  It is quite apparent that spring is ahead of schedule this year, with hawthorn trees already leafing up.  You just wonder how things will change in the coming years as plant and animal life has to adapt to the changing conditions.

Badminton tonight, with just enough players to fill the courts, which meant very little opportunity to rest over two hours.
