The Redwoods

I am still having a nice time walking Arlo, in the dark, in the middle of nowhere, with a torch... I think I am going to miss it when it goes for a few months, despite dreading and complaining about it.

Yesterday there was a news article about Giant Redwoods in the UK, brought over as seeds/seedlings 170 years ago and they are growing at a similar rate as those in their native California. I've always been fascinated with the redwoods in Arniston Estate and counted about 60 once, so there must be much more. Love them....
