Thursday: Meat Shop

It’s been a very full day.  It started with me being on a hiring panel for a job.  When that was done I rushed over to the National Assembly to meet the MPs and join them for a couple of meetings.

We then drove down to the border zone with Guatemala where we met with the organisation who monitor border incursions but who also support projects for the local communities.  We spent about half an hour in Guatemala too - we had a bit of trouble getting back into Belize but managed to blab our way through.  

We had time for them to see the Mayan site of Xunantunich, followed by dinner in San Ignacio.  I liked this signage which we saw in the local market.

And now off to bed.
