Market day
Good God! Wall to wall sunshine - all day! I accompanied Himself into Bantry for the weekly shop - he did the shop and I dossed around. Lots of interesting things going on - this secondhand book stall always has interesting things and the owner sits in his van with a vacant chair on each side of him so anyone can sit down and have a chat, and they do. He has a little jack russell too but he was out adventuring. The multitude of flags is, I think, in case anyone wanted to buy one for the weekend's festivities for it is Paddy's Day Weekend. For some reason this sparkling new trailer was causing a stir as was the homespun electric vehicle.
Back home and we both got stuck into he garden - more barrowfuls of compost shovelled into the polytunnel, a bed cleared and some gunnera hacked back.
The first episode of the new holy well programme, Ag Triall ar an Tobar , was very enjoyable and focused on coastal wells. And I got a credit.
The other big new, the Arts Council has awarded us a grant, a big one- us being me and the Artist so that project is now going full steam ahead - yikes!
